INTERNATIONAL FAMILY MEDIATION
I can offer you family mediation in an international context involving French clients, either in French, in English or both
Mission
Why use family mediation?
Family mediation is one of the non court dispute resolution. (NCDR)
It allows those who wish to divorce or separate to do so in better conditions, while maintaining control of the process, reducing conflicts, and maintaining dialogue.
Family mediation prepares for post-divorce and helps ensure that co-parenting is done smoothly.
It also allows the couple to find solutions together that suit the whole family.
What does family mediation cover?
Family mediation can also be used in other conflicting family situations, such as for example in cases of strained relationships with grandparents, stormy inheritances, or even outside of divorce for anything relating to the children arrangements : how can you make decision regarding the children, the residence of the children, where should the children live? when can the parents see them? and the financial contribution.
What is my role as a mediator?
My role is to offer you a safe space for discussion, to maintain communication or to help re-establish the communication and to find solutions that will suit the whole family.
During our sessions, I make sure that you move forward, that you progress in your discussions and I will do everything to prevent you from falling back into your bad habits, by reminding you to be mindful of each other and of the way you speak to each other.
I'm not here to give you legal advice,
you have lawyers for that.
I can give you some general legal information.
I am not imposing a solution on you.
The mediator is a neutral third party.
IT'S UP TO YOU TO FIND THE SOLUTION
I'm just providing you with the framework to find it.
